“Although I really enjoy talking about investments, and we manage that well, when you work with clients who have significant corporate assets, investments are only a small piece of their families' total net worth.
By specializing in advanced financial planning solutions for incorporated professionals and working closely with their other accounting and legal professionals, I ensure my client’s situations are optimized saving them hundreds of thousands in taxes each year. This allows them to grow their net worth a whole lot quicker. That’s something my clients can measure and view as a real value to them. True financial planning is about advising on a much bigger picture.”
In 2021 Brandt was awarded the Rising Star Advisor of the Year Award from Wealth Professional Magazine which recognizes the next generation of exceptional Canadian advisors across the country. And in 2020, Brandt was a finalist for the Future Leaders of Manitoba award which recognizes individuals who display strong leadership in their professional contributions and outstanding service in the community through volunteerism.
Before wealth management, Brandt was a National Team member for the Canadian Amateur Boxing Team. Today he is a proud member of the community and when he’s not in the office he can be found at United Boxing Club, as the head coach to their competitive program. In February 2016, Brandt started a non-contact boxing program that is helping individuals with Parkinson's to keep active and to fight back against their disease.
Brandt regularly writes on topics including financial planning, investment philosophy, and behavioural finance. If you are a CJOB 680 listener (Winnipeg’s largest talk radio station), you’ll often hear Brandt providing market updates and commentary to listeners across Manitoba.
